About MP PET:
Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board was established as Pre Medical Test Board in 1970. In 1981, Pre Engineering Board was come into existence. In 1982, these 2 Boards were amalgamated and get name as Professional Examination Board. It has the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission to various colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
The Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Test (MP PET 2011) is conducted every year by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board for admission to Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) course in various technical institutes across Madhya Pradesh.
There are 159 institutes in MP offering B.E. course through Madhya Pradesh PET.
