Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET)
Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) Conducted by Osmania Univeristy, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. Over 2 lakh candidates appeared for EdCET 2011 entrnace exam on June 4th 2011. Osmania Univeristy will be declare the EdCET 2011 result to be available on or before 25th June 2011.
EdCET entrance examination for admission to B.Ed Regular courses 2011-2012 session in Osmania University and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh State. Approximate 2.13 lakh candidates registered for EdCET exam held in 457 test centers in AP state. Accoridng to IBN Live News report, The convener said the qualifying mark in the entrance test for all candidates (except SC/ST) is 37.
Ed.cet 2011 ranks:
Candidates will be ranked in each subject in the order of merit. Where there is a tie, part-C marks will be taken into consideration to decide relative ranking. In case of further tie, the marks obtained in Part-A will be taken into account to decide the ranking. In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, age shall be taken into consideration and older candidates shall be given priority. Admission to 85 per cent of the seats shall be reserved for local candidates.
