(A) Candidates belonging to reserved categories for which no vacancy has been announced are free to apply against vacancies announced for Unreserved/General category provided they fulfill qualifications, age and other such norms of General category as stipulated.

(C) This is an All India Test and the recruitment recruitment would be on State/UT basis. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only and have to appear for the examination, from a center of that particular State/UT. As the reservation for VH/HI/OH and Ex-servicemen candidates are on horizontal basis, the selected candidates will be placed in the appropriate category to which the candidate belongs.
